Every tube in the Liquitex Basics 12 set, from its darkest shade to its lightest tint. Each column is one value step, the same lightness in every row, so you can find a color by its hue and by how light it is. Click any square for its recipe.
How this chart was made
Each square is the row's tube mixed with Mars Black (darker than the pure tube) or Titanium White (lighter than it). The colors are computed with the Trycolors mixing engine from each paint's mixing data, so a square shows what the tube really turns into, not an evenly spaced made-up color. That is why yellow gets olive as it darkens and red turns pink as it lightens: real paint does that too.
Every recipe is in parts: use the same scoop for each part, like the tip of a palette knife. The square shows the color exactly those parts make. When a recipe needs only a speck of one paint, it starts with a premix, so the speck becomes an amount you can measure.
